Revival

In October 2022, I started a daily blog where I would take photos of the garden and write brief notes on observations and work I did for the day. I wrote an entry every single day for a year. I intended to document the progress of establishing a food forest garden and to use it as a reference for my future self. The habit faded away in the fall of 2023, but I am reviving this blog to share my observations and thoughts about life in the garden.

Spring is here.

One of my favorite things about spring (something I take for granted) is to be outside during sunset without getting bitten by mosquitos.

Here are some photos that I took recently.

Pawpaw flower and fruit formation
Apple blossoms. They smell like roses.
The blueberries are flowering and attracting a lot of bees
Nanking Cherry

Asparagus
Asparagus grows fast once it gets going

That’s all for now.
