Description
Euclid is a very special tree that was discovered in Asheville, North Carolina. It produces green figs that have been shown to ripen fully on the tree within our relatively short season here in zone 6/7. The interior is deep red, nearly purple. The taste is an outstanding balance of sweet, jammy, and berry. It is certainly an Adriatic type, and its origins are unknown. “Euclid” is the name of the street it was discovered on. This is my favorite fig, and I can do nothing but rave about it. If you are looking for a cold-hardy tree that can be planted in the ground and produce incredible fruit, give this one a try.
All of our fig cuttings contain at least 3 nodes, are between 6 – 12 inches long and at least 75% lignified.
